1- Kanchan Chaudhary Bhattacharya, India’s first woman Director General of Police (DGP), passed away in Mumbai following an illness. Bhattacharya, a 1973 batch officer, made history in 2004 when she was appointed as the DGP of Uttarakhand, thus becoming the first woman in the country to hold such position.
भारत की पहली महिला पुलिस महानिदेशक (DGP) कंचन चौधरी भट्टाचार्य का बीमारी के बाद मुंबई में निधन हो गया। 1973 बैच की अधिकारी भट्टाचार्य ने 2004 में इतिहास रचा था जब उन्हें उत्तराखंड के डीजीपी के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था, इस प्रकार वह इस पद पर काबिज होने वाली देश की पहली महिला बनी थी।
2- Lieutenant General Anil Puri has become the first serving Indian Army general to complete France’s oldest cycling event. The 56-year-old Puri completed the 1,200-kilometre Paris-Brest-Paris circuit on August 23.
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल अनिल पुरी फ्रांस के सबसे पुराने साइकिलिंग इवेंट को पूरा करने वाले पहले भारतीय सेना जनरल बन गए हैं । 56 वर्षीय पुरी ने 23 अगस्त को 1,200 किलोमीटर पेरिस-ब्रेस्ट-पेरिस सर्किट पूरा किया।

3- Schools in Bihar have the fewest teachers per student with a pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) of 38, followed by Delhi at 35. Sikkim has the best student-teacher ratio at four. The Right To Education Act, 2009 in its schedule has laid down pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) for both primary and upper primary schools. At primary level, the PTR norm is 30:1 and at the upper primary level, it is 35:1.
बिहार के स्कूलों में 38 के छात्र-शिक्षक अनुपात (PTR) के साथ प्रति छात्र सबसे कम शिक्षक हैं, इसके बाद दिल्ली 35 साथ आता है। सिक्किम में चार से अधिक छात्र-शिक्षक अनुपात हैजोकि सबसे अच्छा अनुपात है। प्राथमिक स्कूलों के लिए शिष्य-शिक्षक अनुपात (पीटीआर) का मानदंड 30: 1 है और उच्च प्राथमिक स्तर के स्कूलों के लिए यह 35: 1 है।
4- According to Forbes, Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has been named the world’s highest-paid actress with earnings of $56 million (₹400 crore earnings) from June 1, 2018-June 1, 2019. She is followed by Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston.
फोर्ब्स के अनुसार, हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री स्कारलेट जोहानसन को 1 जून, 2018 से 1 जून 2019 तक 56 मिलियन डॉलर (400 करोड़ की कमाई) के साथ दुनिया की सबसे अधिक कमाई वाली अभिनेत्री के रूप में नामित किया गया है। उनके बाद सोफिया वेरगारा, रीज़ विदरस्पून, निकोल किडमैन और जेनिफर एनिस्टन इस तालिका में हैं।
5-Human Resource Development Ministry under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology, NMEICT has launched the National Digital Library of India project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. National Digital Library has been integrated with UMANG App and users can register through www.ndl.gov.in or through the mobile app.
मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय ने सूचना और संचार प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से शिक्षा पर अपने राष्ट्रीय मिशन के तहत, NMEICT ने सिंगल विंडो सर्च सुविधा के साथ सीखने के संसाधनों के भंडार का एक ढांचा विकसित करने के लिए राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी ऑफ़ इंडिया परियोजना शुरू की है। राष्ट्रीय डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी को UMANG ऐप के साथ एकीकृत किया गया है और उपयोगकर्ता www.ndl.gov.in या मोबाइल ऐप के माध्यम से पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं।
6- State-run Canara Bank has launched India’s first one-time password (OTP) facility for ATM withdrawals. The facility, which is activated for cash withdrawals over ₹10,000 per day at its ATMs, will protect its card-holders from unauthorised withdrawals.
राज्य द्वारा संचालित केनरा बैंक ने एटीएम से धन निकासी के लिए भारत का पहला वन टाइम पासवर्ड (ओटीपी) सुविधा शुरू की है। यह सुविधा, जो अपने एटीएम में प्रति दिन 10,000 से अधिक की नकदी निकासी के लिए लागू की गयी है जोकि अपने कार्ड धारकों को अनधिकृत निकासी से बचाएगा।

7- Karnataka will have three Deputy CMs for the first time after the newly formed BJP government appointed Govind Makthappa Karajol, CN Ashwath Narayan and Laxman Sangappa Savadi to the post of Deputy Chief Ministers. While Makthappa has been allotted Public Works Department, Narayan and Savadi have been given higher education and transport portfolios, respectively.
नवगठित भाजपा सरकार के बाद गोविंद मकठप्पा करजोल, सीएन अश्वथ नारायण और लक्ष्मण संगप्पा सावदी को उप मुख्यमंत्रियों के पद पर नियुक्त करने के बाद कर्नाटक में पहली बार तीन डिप्टी सीएम होंगे। जबकि मख्तप्पा को सार्वजनिक निर्माण विभाग आवंटित किया गया है, नारायण और सावदी को क्रमशः उच्च शिक्षा और परिवहन विभाग दिए गए हैं।
