1- Cabinet has approved the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation (Second Amendment)Bill, 2019. This bill will enable 10% reservation to the Economically Weaker Section in Jammu & Kashmir. The 10 per cent quota for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will be in addition to the existing reservations in Jammu and Kashmir.
कैबिनेट ने जम्मू और कश्मीर आरक्षण (दूसरा संशोधन) विधेयक, 2019 को मंजूरी दे दी है। यह विधेयक जम्मू और कश्मीर में आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग को 10% आरक्षण देने में सक्षम होगा। आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग (ईडब्ल्यूएस) के लिए 10 प्रतिशत कोटा जम्मू और कश्मीर में मौजूदा आरक्षण के अतिरिक्त होगा।

5- Parliament has passed the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2019, with the Rajya Sabha’s approval. The Lok Sabha has already passed the bill. The Bill seeks to amend the Companies Act, 2013. It aims to tighten Corporate Social Responsibility-CSR compliance, transfer certain responsibilities to National Company Law Tribunal and recategorise certain offences as civil offences.

Among other Indian Men’s singles shuttlers, Kidambi Srikanth has maintained his tenth position while Sameer Verma retains his 13th position. In Women’s Singles, P.V.Sindhu has retained her 5th position and Saina Nehwal 8th position. In Men’s Doubles, the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have moved up by two points to 16th position.
