| Graduate Apprentice Trainees | Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. |

| Technician Apprentice | Diploma in Engineering or Technology in relevant Engineering discipline from State Council or Board of Technical Education. | |
| Trade Apprentice | Certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education. |
