1- Central Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare has been given the additional charge of the School Education and Literacy Department of the Ministry of Human Resources. Amit Khare is a 1985 batch officer of the Jharkhand cadre. He has also previously held the post of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Human Resources.
केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण सचिव अमित खरे को मानव संसाधन मंत्रालय के स्कूली शिक्षा और साक्षरता विभाग का अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया है. अमित खरे झारखंड कैडर के 1985 बैच के अधिकारी हैं. वे इससे पूर्व भी मानव संसाधन मंत्रालय में संयुक्त सचिव का पद संभाल चुके हैं. खरे झारखंड के विकास आयुक्त सहित वित्त ,शिक्षा आदि अहम विभागों की जिम्मेदारी संभाल चुके हैं.
2- UAE announced the establishment of the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence( MBZUAI), the first graduate-level, research-based AI university in the world. The University is named after Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
यूएई ने मोहम्मद बिन जायद यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (MBZUAI) की स्थापना की घोषणा की, जो दुनिया में पहला स्नातक स्तर का, अनुसंधान-आधारित एआई विश्वविद्यालय है। विश्वविद्यालय का नाम शेख मोहम्मद बिन जायद अल नाहयान, अबू धाबी के क्राउन प्रिंस और यूएई सशस्त्र बलों के उप सुप्रीम कमांडर के नाम पर रखा गया है।

3- Kerala is extending maternity leave benefits to teachers and other staff of private educational institutions, including those in the unaided sector. With the amendment to the Act comes into force, Kerala would become the first state in the country to provide maternity benefits in the private educational sector.
केरल शिक्षकों और निजी शिक्षण संस्थानों के अन्य कर्मचारियों के लिए मातृत्व अवकाश का लाभ प्रदान कर रहा है, जिसमें ग़ैर-सहायताप्राप्त क्षेत्र के लोग भी शामिल हैं। केंद्र सरकार ने इन शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों को मातृत्व लाभ अधिनियम के तहत लाने के केरल सरकार के फैसले को मंजूरी दे दी है। अधिनियम में संशोधन लागू होने के बाद केरल निजी शैक्षणिक क्षेत्र में मातृत्व लाभ प्रदान करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य बन जाएगा।
4- Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism and Culture Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated Shirui Lily Festival, 2019 at Shirui Vangayan Ground of Ukhrul in Manipur.

6- Reserve Bank has enhanced the withdrawal limit for the account holder of Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative Bank or PMC Bank to 40 thousand rupees from 25 thousand rupees. This is the third time, RBI has raised the withdrawal limit since its clampdown on PMC Bank last month.
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने पंजाब और महाराष्ट्र सहकारी बैंक या पीएमसी बैंक के खाताधारक के लिए निकासी की सीमा 25 हजार रुपये से बढ़ाकर 40 हजार रुपये कर दी है। यह तीसरी बार है, जब आरबीआई ने पिछले महीने पीएमसी बैंक में क्लैंपडाउन के बाद से निकासी की सीमा बढ़ा दी है।
7- The Chennai leg of the National Junior Squash Championship began in Chennai. It is for the first time that some tribal children are taking part in the tournament. The seven-day tournaments will go on till 22nd October 2019.
