Exam Pattern : The competitive examination comprises two successive stages viz : –
- Objective Type Question Paper
- Viva – Voce (Personality) Test
Objective Type Question Paper : This paper will consist of the two paper Paper –I & Paper –II of which answer shall be on OMR sheets.
Paper -I : This question paper contain two parts first part General Studies and Second part General Aptitude test. Total 200 Marks 02 Hours 9.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M.
Part -I :
- Subject : General Studies (Objective)
- Maximum Marks : 100 Marks
- No. of Question : 100
Part -II :
- Subject : General Aptitude (Objective)
- Maximum Marks : 100 Marks
- No. of Question : 50
Paper –II : This question paper contain two parts first part General Hindi and Second part General Maths. Total 200 Marks 02 Hours 2.30 P.M. to 4.30 P.M.

Viva – Voce (Personality) Test : Personality Test will be of 50 marks. This test will relate to the matter of General Interest keeping in view of general awareness, intelligence, character, personality, expression power and general suitability for the service.
Syllabus For Rajasva Nirikshak Exam 2014 Exam :
Syllabus For General Studies (First Paper ) : The paper of General Studies will include questions on the following topics :-
- General Science : Question of General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of Science, including matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
- Current Events of National and International Importance :
- History of India : In History of India emphasis should be on broad understanding of economic, Social , Cultural and Political aspects of Indian History.
- Indian national Movement : In Indian national Movement, the candidates are expected to have a synoptic view of the nature and character of the Indian freedom movement, growth of nationalism and attainment of Independence.
- Indian polity and Economy : In Indian Polity and economy, questions will test knowledge of the candidate pertaining to Indian Polity including the Indian Constitution. Panchayati Raj and community Development, broad features of Indian economy and planning.
- World Geography and population : In world geography and population, only General understanding of the subject will be expected with emphasis on physical / ecological, economic and socio-demographic aspects of Geography of India.
- Candidates are expected to have general awareness about the above topics with special reference to Uttar Pradesh.

Part-II : सामान्य गणित (Elementary Mathematics)
- अंकगणित एवं सांख्यिकी :
- संख्या पद्धति

- सांख्यिकी
सांख्यिकी :
- आंकड़ों का वर्गीकरण, बारम्बारता, बारम्बारता बंटन सारणीयन, संचयी बारम्बारता।
- आंकड़ों का निरूपण, दण्ड चार्ट, पाई चार्ट, आयत चित्र बारम्बारता बहुभुज।
- केन्द्रयी माप- समान्तर माध्य, माध्यिका एवं बहुलक।
बीजगणित :
- लघुत्तम समापवत्रय़ एवं महत्तम समापवत्रय और उनमें संबंध
- युगपत समीकरण, द्विघात समीकरण
- गुणनखंड, शेषफल प्रमेय।
रेखागणित :
- त्रिभुज संबंधी पाइथागोरस प्रमेय
- त्रिभुज, आयत, वर्ग, समलम्ब, समान्तर, समचतुभुर्ज के परिमाप तथा क्षेत्रफल
- वृत्त की परिधि एवं क्षेत्रफल।
Eligibility Criteria :
- Essential Qualification : A candidate for direct recruitment to the service must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent .
- Preferential Qualification : Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or Obtained a “B” Certificate of the National Cadet Corps, shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment, other things being equal.
