1- A three-day-long International conference ANGAN for Energy Efficiency in Building Sector is being organized by Bureau of Energy Efficiency in New Delhi. Indo-German Technical Co-operation is also partnering in the event. Experts and policymakers from sixteen countries are participating in this event to discuss various alternative options and technologies in the field of design and construction of energy-efficient commercial as well as residential buildings.
नई दिल्ली में ब्यूरो ऑफ एनर्जी एफिशिएंसी द्वारा भवन निर्माण क्षेत्र में ऊर्जा दक्षता के लिए तीन दिवसीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन ANGAN का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इंडो-जर्मन टेक्निकल को-ऑपरेशन भी इस आयोजन में भागीदारी कर रहा है। सोलह देशों के विशेषज्ञ और नीति निर्माता इस आयोजन में भाग ले रहे हैं ताकि ऊर्जा-कुशल वाणिज्यिक और आवासीय भवनों के डिजाइन और निर्माण के क्षेत्र में विभिन्न वैकल्पिक विकल्पों और प्रौद्योगिकियों पर चर्चा की जा सके।
2- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India have signed a $200 million loan to upgrade rural roads to all-weather standards in 34 districts of Maharashtra State to improve road safety and better connect rural areas with markets and services.
एशियाई विकास बैंक (ADB) और भारत सरकार ने महाराष्ट्र राज्य के 34 जिलों में ग्रामीण सड़कों को सभी मौसम के मानकों पर अपग्रेड करने के लिए $ 200 मिलियन के ऋण पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं ताकि सड़क सुरक्षा और बाजारों और सेवाओं के साथ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों को बेहतर ढंग से जोड़ा जा सके।
3- The Union Minister for Communications, Electronics & IT and Law & Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad announced the rollout of Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AePS) Services by India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), giving a strong boost to its efforts in expanding access to financial services for millions of unbanked and underbanked customers.
इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक ने अपनी वर्षगाँठ के अवसर पर सेवाओं का विस्तार करते हुए आधार इनेबल्ड पेमेंट सिस्टम (AEPS) सेवा का भी शुभारम्भ किया है। इसके माध्यम से अब कोई भी व्यक्ति अपने किसी भी बैंक के आधार-लिंक्ड खाते से धनराशि डाकघर से निकाल सकता है और बैलेंस इंक्वायरी की जानकारी ले सकता है। यही नहीं ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोग अपने इलाके के डाकिये के माध्यम से भी किसी बैंक से पैसे निकाल सकते हैं, बशर्ते खाता आधार से लिंक होना चाहिए। इसमें एक दिन में अधिकतम दस हजार रूपये निकाले जा सकते हैं।

4- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has visited an innovation exhibition in Singapore in which around 60 startups from India are participating. Mr. Jaishankar was accompanied by his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan to the exhibition. During his visit, Mr. Jaishankar will co-chair the 6th Meeting of Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC) with his counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan.

5- The 24th World Energy Congress will commence in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates from 09th September 2019. The four-day World Energy Congress aims to bring together international energy stakeholders, including governments, private and state corporations, academia and media.

6-State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) has put up for sale 11 non-performing assets (NPA) to recover dues of more than 1,234 crore rupees. The lender has invited bids from asset reconstruction companies non-banking financial companies, banks, financial institutions for 11 NPA accounts.
पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (पीएनबी) ने 1,234 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की वसूली के लिए 11 गैर- निष्पादित परिसंपत्तियों (एनपीए) वाले खातों को बिक्री के लिए रखा है. बैंक ने 11 एनपीए खातों के लिए इच्छुक बैंक/संपत्ति पुनर्गठन कंपनियां/गैर- बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियां या वित्तीय संस्थान से बोलियां आमंत्रित की हैं।
7- The eighth Ladakh Marathon was organized in Leh. It has four categories including the seven-kilometre long run for fun. In Ladakh Marathon, more than 6 thousand runners are participating in four different categories. It will include players from 25 countries.
लेह में आठवीं लद्दाख मैराथन का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें सात किलोमीटर लम्बी रन फॉर फन समेत चार श्रेणियां हैं। लद्दाख मैराथन में 6 हजार के ज्यादा धावक चार विभिन्न श्रेणियों में भाग ले रहे हैं। इसमें 25 देशों के खिलाड़ी शामिल होंगे।

10- Twin Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh will have Common High Court. 108 Central Laws would be applicable for the two UTs while 164 state laws would be repealed and 166 state laws will continue to be applicable.
जम्मू और कश्मीर के जुड़वां केंद्र शासित प्रदेश, लद्दाख में कॉमन हाई कोर्ट होगा। 108 केंद्रीय कानून दो केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के लिए लागू होंगे जबकि 164 राज्य कानून निरस्त होंगे और 166 राज्य कानून लागू रहेंगे।
